Advanced Apprenticeships (NVQ)

Our Advanced Apprenticeship option combines practical training with theoretical learning. We enjoy close relationships with a large number of partner salons throughout Yorkshire, allowing us to teach with a vocational emphasis and ensure you leave with the experience and professional discipline to succeed in your chosen career. The Advanced Apprenticeship course is the equivalent to two A level passes.

The Apprenticeship course...

• Is open to applicants between 16 and 18. A small number of Adult Apprenticeships are available.
• Leads to an Advanced Apprenticeship in Beauty Therapy. This consists of NVQ levels 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy and Key Skills levels 1 and 2 in Application of number and Communication.
• Provides valuable work experience whilst training. Learners attend college for practical and theory training and gain experience as a 'hands on' therapist at their salon.
• Is funded by the Government's National Apprenticeship Scheme - salons who employ our learners pay them directly to show commitment to the learners training and ultimately achievement of the qualification.
