Part Time Courses

Learning around other commitments.

As with nearly all our courses, applicants of any age are more than welcome. However, the part time syllabus we offer is especially suited to mature students who may need to juggle a family, job and studying.

On successful completion of their course, graduates will be qualified massage/aroma therapists or beauty therapists, holding international qualifications which make them ‘insurable’ to work both in this country and overseas. Demand for these types of therapists - both male and female - has increased over the years, with many job opportunities now becoming available in health spas, gyms, cruise liners and luxury health farms.

CIBTAC Electrolysis Diploma Course

A part time course covering 1 term,  subjects covered in this course include:

  • Electrolysis
  • Business studies/professional ethics
  • Salon safety
  • Hygiene

All candidates who want to participate in this course must hold or be working towards a recognised Anatomy and Physiology qualification. 

Course F
ITEC Holistic Massage / Aromatherapy Diploma Course

A part time course which consists of Holistic massage, Aromatherapy and anatomy and physiology, this section of the course takes place on Monday and Wednesday evenings from September – January.  Aromatherapy classes are held one day a week/two evenings from September – April.

Subjects covered in this course include:

  • Anatomy and physiology  
  • Aromatherapy
  • Business studies/professional ethics
  • Salon safety
  • Hygiene

Course G
ITEC Beauty Specialist

 This is a part time course delivered on Saturdays, over 3 terms. Intakes are in January, April and September. Subjects covered in this course include:

  • Aesthetics (beauty)
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Business studies/professional ethics
  • Salon safety
  • Hygiene

Course H
ITEC Holistic Massage Course

This is a part time course delivered over two evenings each week from September – January. Subjects covered in this course include:

  • Holistic massage
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Business studies/professional ethics
  • Salon safety
  • Hygiene

Course I
ITEC Aromatherapy

This course is held one day a week/two evenings  for two terms, from September – April.  All candidates who want to participate in this course must hold, or be working towards, a recognised Anatomy, Physiology and Massage qualification. Subjects covered in this course include:

  • Massage
  • Blending of oils
  • Business studies/professional ethics
  • Salon safety
  • Hygiene

Course J
CIDESCO

Students entering this examination must have already successfully completed Course B and E or equivalent.

Graduates will receive the following qualification:

  • CIDESCO

Course K
ITEC Sports Massage Course

This is a part time course delivered over two evenings each week from February - July. All candidates who want to participate in this course must hold, or be working towards, a recognised Anatomy, Physiology and Massage qualification.
