Since 1983, The Yorkshire College of Beauty has delivered the Cidesco Post Graduate Course Level 3 and in the process, has produced countless highly professional beauty therapists. CIDESCO is the World Standard for Beauty and Spa Therapy, making this diploma extremely sought after by employers all around the globe – opening up a world of career opportunities for graduates combined with the City and Guilds nationally recognized Level 4 qualification, one of the most comprehensive qualifications available.

About this Course

This will provide you with extensive and deeper knowledge of advanced beauty treatments, learning from industry experts.
Also included in this course is the opportunity to learn about the management of clinics and salons, invaluable skills for anybody in the industry and unlocking the chance to move into more senior roles and progress your career to the highest level plus in-depth anatomy of the skin and the physiology of ageing. Completion of this course is a mark of incredibly high achievement, showing an exceptional level of skill and knowledge that can carry you to a wide number of positions within the industry.

This course lasts for 11 months, giving you a chance to learn a whole host of different advanced techniques, with enough time to become comfortable with each one whilst at the same time upgrading your beauty therapy skills to the prestigious CIDESCO Diploma.
Our highly qualified and supportive tutors provide constant support to make sure you are working to industry standard.
This course is taught 1 day a week covering theory and practical learning. Home study is essential to be able to write assignments throughout the course at a high academic standard with Harvard referencing.
Guidance of study and reading resources will be given.

  • We accept students aged 16 and over.

    No previous beauty related experience is required, however the following is needed to enrol:

    • Level 3 Beauty Therapy including facial electrotherapy and Electrolysis
    • A high command of the English Language for communication, reading and writing.
    • Successful interview with Training Manager
    • Photo Identification (ie passport)
    • Completed application and enrolment forms

  • Start date in the academic year.

    Attendance must be maintained above 95% in order to successfully achieve your Diploma.

    This is an 11 month learning programme, 4 days a week – 9:00 am-5:00pm. Please refer to course timetable when on programme.

  • On completion of your course, you can look forward to a very special ceremony.

    The award ceremony of special individual student awards will take place once everyone has been presented with their diplomas.
