Since 1983, The Yorkshire College of Beauty has delivered the CIDESCO Post Graduate Course Level 3 and in the process has produced countless highly professional beauty therapists. CIDESCO is the World Standard for Beauty and Spa Therapy, making this diploma extremely sought after by employers all around the globe, opening up a world of career opportunities for graduates. Completion of this course is a mark of an incredibly high achievement, showing an exceptional level of skill and knowledge, that can carry you to a huge number of positions within the industry.

About this Course

This course runs full time over 11 months, including not only the prestigious CIDESCO qualification but also CIBTAC and ITEC Diplomas which are both UK qualifications recognized internationally.

Students are taught to the highest qualified professional standards by highly qualified and supportive tutors.

The course is taught 4 days a week covering the theory, practical, salon practice elements and home study which is required for assignments/projects and revision.

  • We accept students aged 16 and over.

    No previous beauty related experience is required, however the following is needed to enrol:

    • A high command of the English Language for communication, reading and writing.
    • Successful interview with Training Manager
    • Photo Identification (ie passport)
    • Completed application and enrolment forms

  • Start date in the academic year.

    Attendance must be maintained above 95% in order to successfully achieve your Diploma.

    Duration

    This is an 11 month learning programme, 4 days a week – 9:00 am-5:00pm. Please refer to course timetable when on programme.

  • Modules include:

    • Aesthetics including facial electrical machines
    • Body Treatments including massage and body electrical machines
    • Figure diagnosis
    • Anatomy & Physiology
    • Business
    • Cosmetic Science
    • You will be required to complete your CIDESCO project (4000 words)

    Throughout your training you will take examinations in both Cibtac and iTec (Aesthetics and Body Therapy, Electrolysis).

  • On completion of your course, you can look forward to a very special ceremony.
